Day 5 – Before & After: “The Windshield”
BEFORE He just clocked out of work. The parking lot is almost empty. He sits alone in his car with the engine off, staring through the windshield long after everyone else has driven away. His phone lights up, but he ignores it. Everyone thinks he’s doing fine because he keeps showing up, keeps working, and keeps smiling. Inside, he’s wondering if the purpose GOD placed in his heart will ever become reality. He’s tired of carrying a dream no one else can see. AFTER The song ends, but he doesn’t start the car right away. Instead of questioning whether GOD has forgotten him, he remembers why he started. He takes a deep breath, turns the key, and drives home believing his purpose is still worth pursuing. — Ken (Kendricks Andre) #BuiltFromFaith

THURSDAY CHECK IN
Life has been life-ing lately, and that's okay. I know life can feel heavy sometimes. The days move fast, the to-do list keeps growing, and it can feel like there just aren't enough hours in the day. Give yourself grace. Pace yourself. Celebrate the small wins, because they matter too. And don't forget you've made it through 100% of your hard days so far. Keep going. You've got this. !!!

Thank you, Cee Cee! 🙏🏾 This reminded me that GOD gave us a windshield that’s bigger than the rearview mirror because what’s in front of us is greater than what’s behind us. We may experience setbacks along the way, but if we don’t quit and keep trusting GOD, He can turn those setbacks into setups for success. @Hope McKee Fishback That's a great mindset! 💯 When you’re operating with purpose instead of procrastination, things tend to come together a lot faster. It sounds like you’ve already laid a solid foundation, so now it’s just about building on it one step at a time. And you’re absolutely right—having people in your corner, like your graphic designer and website guru, can make a huge difference when you hit a roadblock. Keep that momentum going. I have a feeling you’re going to get a lot out of this process and accomplish some great things along the way. Looking forward to seeing your progress! 🚀🔥

@Hope McKee Fishback Hope, thank you for sharing your journey. What stood out to me was your willingness to keep moving forward even when things got difficult. Losing a job after 8 years could have easily caused someone to give up on their dream, but instead you continued investing in yourself, your music, and your education. It also sounds like you’ve already laid a strong foundation with your website, merchandise, music business training, and catalog ownership. That’s inspiring because it shows that success is often built one faithful step at a time, even when the path isn’t clear. I’m looking forward to seeing how you combine everything you’ve already built with what we’re learning in AMP. It sounds like you’re positioned to do some great things.
