Listen, I know you are committed. BUT how many times have you stopped to ask yourself what you're actually committed to?
Hot take (not really), many say one thing but do another. Even if they don't intend to *directly impact themselves in this way there is an:
Automatic thought > Behavior > Core belief. Classic Psychotherapy right?
Psychoanalysis aside. What if you are meant to experience this polarity? Including people saying incredibly weird shii to you, having setbacks, having periods of misalignment or loss. So that you CAN CONCIOUSLY CHOOSE to override it, and make better choices. Multiple layers to your life = fixed destiny > soul contracts / past life contracts > what you're creating now in this life due to our subconcious
There will be energy that may linger or try to hold you back but we CAN change the way we approach them and HOW we handle any setbacks going forward. We can always learn reduce the effect.
