📌 Day 111
⭐ Goal: $15k /mo
✅ Current Revenue: $2,100/mo
overview
got a great problem. the outreach I’ve been sending has caught up and I’ve got 3 potential gigs: $600 (took it), a $6k gig pending my response, and a $500 upwork gig. my focus is the $6k. the problem: it’s with a competitor I used to work for (never signed a non-compete, so it’s fair game), but the work itself I never loved.
I’ve placed myself as a full-stack marketer, which means generally good at a few things, not great at one. pretty fresh to the online business world, or agency world I should say. only about 13 months in. it’s fair to say I’ve been confused trying to figure out two things: personal life balance with friends and people, and what I’m actually good at. I’ve had AI gigs, manychat, social media management, email marketing, ecom, tiktok shop, to name a few. I’m in the dating phase of business, which some would argue is horrible, just pick one thing and run. fair. don’t disagree.
now the actual problem: the $6k/mo work isn’t work I enjoy. I’ve had a real delay on responding and I’m not sure it aligns with me. it requires my full attention and I feel like I’d be repeating a learned lesson. that said, I think there’s still something I can work out. I’m even open to taking a pay cut to see if it works.
I’ve got experience managing multiple UGC creators and the ROI I saw for that business was huge. dozens of creators posting content pushing an offer on socials, as opposed to just one account. I actually believe this is the direction I need to run in over the next 90 days at minimum.
longer post than I planned. if I’m honest, I’m confused. there’s an overload of options in this space and I needed to take a step back and look at what my skillset actually is and where I want to go. right now I’m running a side hustle. by no means an agency.
