Something I wish I understood earlier: not every client is worth “figuring out.”
If onboarding feels chaotic, expectations are unclear, and they resist structure… that usually doesn’t magically improve later.
I now use a simple rule:If I have to chase clarity in week 1, I’ll be chasing it in month 3.
Better to set boundaries early or walk away.
