Help for a Newbie
Hi Guys
Great to be here.
Just wanted to ask for some advice.
I’ve recently opened a Distrokid account and uploaded a whole bunch of albums that I had already prepared.
Not realising I was spamming I’ve received an email saying:
“
We've been notified by stores and streaming services that one or more of your releases has been rejected due to editorial discretion.
Unfortunately, stores are no longer accepting releases from you via DistroKid. You’ll need to try another distributor for future releases.
“
Anyone have any advice what I can do next? Would I be able to open a new Distrokid account and use a brand new artist, and begin uploading one album at a time? Or should I try using another service like DittoMusic.
Currently DistroKid hasn’t removed any of my albums. But there are a bunch in Processing state.
Any advice would be great.
