Below is the up to date information: 1. Suno eligibility: TuneCore now accepts songs made with Suno’s licensed v6 models. Songs generated with earlier Suno versions remain blocked. 2. Commissions: TuneCore keeps 20% of earnings from YouTube Music, TikTok, Facebook/Instagram and CapCut—you keep 80%. That includes ordinary YouTube Music streams. I’ll leave it up to you to decide whether TuneCore is worth using, considering these conditions and fees.

@Jesse Hull Thank you for letting me know 😊
Spotify AI persona, Should I enable it or not ?
Hello everyone! 👋 Spotify is asking me to label SONGA as an AI Persona. The badge will be visible on the artist profile, and the notice mentions restrictions on editorial and algorithmic recommendations. For those who have experience with this, should I enable it? What impact have you seen on reach and music discovery? Would love to hear your thoughts! 🙏🎶

Personally, I strongly recommend choosing the AI Persona label if it applies to your music. With all the recent removals and the growing scrutiny around AI music and so-called "AI slop," I really don't think it's worth taking any chances. I know getting discovered is harder with that label, and that's a serious downside. But I'd still rather play it safe than risk having my music flagged, removed, or, even worse, getting my account banned. Better to grow slowly than lose everything you've worked for. Just my two cents! 🙂
DistroKid changed the message again👀
The new line in my Distrokid Bank: "They will hit your DistroKid Bank as soon as we get them." That does not sound very hopefully for the September royalties 🤨 if would have expected something like "we're processing them." Or something. So strange that we don't get told why YouTube is withholding payment to Distrokid specific... I know a lot of you are waiting on YouTube royalties so I thought I share this with you🙏

@Theo G Man, I'm really sorry you're going through all this. It's one thing to deal with delays and crappy support, but when you've got bills to pay and you're counting on money you've already earned, that's a whole different level of stress. I really hope you get your money soon and things start looking up for you. Don't give up. I know it's easier said than done when you're dealing with so much, but don't let all this mess take away something you love. You've worked too hard to get this far. Stay strong, buddy! I'm rooting for you! 🙏

@Theo G Man, that really sucks, especially after six months of hard work. I hope you manage to get your account sorted out and, most importantly, get the money you've earned! 😪 Just curious, would you mind sharing a few more details? Did you release any cover songs? How often were you releasing music, and how many artists did you have on your account? I'm wondering if something might have triggered their automated systems and caused your account to get flagged. Either way, I hope you get this resolved. Don't give up! 💪
Amuse for AI Music Distribution – Worth Considering?
Hi everyone! Given the ongoing issues with DistroKid, it might be a good idea to look into alternative music distributors. Has anyone here used Amuse specifically for AI-generated music? If so, I'd love to hear about your experience so far. Would you recommend it as an alternative to DistroKid? Thanks in advance!

@Eugene Hickman How long have you been using Too Lost? Do you think you've used it long enough to make a proper assessment (e.g., whether they pay royalties on time, whether there are any issues with release approvals, etc.)?

@Eugene Hickman I think I'll take my chances with Amuse. I'm not saying Too Lost doesn't work, but based on my research, I haven't found enough information to confidently assess them. The only downside to Amuse is that they don't distribute to Facebook and Instagram, but for a new artist, that's acceptable. Unless an artist goes viral or becomes well-known, they're highly unlikely to earn significant royalties or gain much exposure on these platforms anyway. Thanks for sharing your experience, though. I really appreciate your input! 🙏
Please share your music...
