They didn't even need to pick up a brush to get tons of eyeballs, Megan Fox even commented 😂 Why did they do it? Because they are Trend Tracking. I’ve mentioned this technique in previous posts, but this is the ultimate example of it in the wild. They didn't create a trend; they hijacked an existing, high-velocity conversation (the clone conspiracy) to funnel traffic to their own page. The Lesson: You don’t always need to be the "news." You just need to be the reaction to the news. This creator used AI to bridge the gap between their skill (makeup) and what the internet was already obsessed with (Jim Carrey).
