Yes... we recently launched the contractor group, as well as the local directory, so we can offer something of value and get an easy "yes" before we pitch people... these are both really good!
However, I don't want "good". I want "GREAT!".
When we offer them something for free, I don't want the answer to be "yes". I want contractors to answer "HELL YES!", and be so good they feel stupid if they say "no". So please look at these options and give it some thought.
I have been talking to a couple of our people about giving them a product for free that everyone else is selling. Not free for a day, or free for a month... but FOREVER FREE! Not something that anyone can make with an ai, not something cheap. Something that is valuable and NEEDED.
Then look at these qualities, and lets put our heads together:
-It is something they use a lot... not a 1-time thing. So when they use it, they think of us.
-It is a service that all businesses need. Not a "luxury" item. (so they tell their friends)
-It is something they are now paying for... so we save them $ every month.
-It is a service they KNOW is also making them $.
-It is something we setup once, and it keeps working without daily effort.
-And it needs a high perceived cost.
I have some good ideas... but what do YOU think?
