Kelley School of Business Student Inspired by the Niche-Down Approach
Hey everyone,
My name is Michael Carey, and I'm a junior at the Kelley School of Business, studying Information Systems and Business Analytics. I just wanted to properly introduce myself and thank you for putting this community together.
I’ve been following Aidan's YouTube channel for a little while, and his focused approach on the construction industry is exactly what I'm striving for with my own venture, NextGen AI. I started back in July, and I've been doing a lot of custom, one-off automation jobs for various clients. While the hands-on experience has been great, my goal is to pivot towards developing more repeatable, productized solutions.
Seeing Aidan's work on AI estimators and quoting agents has been a huge inspiration for making that shift. My background is in the construction industry (my dad is a safety consultant for GCs), so I'm constantly seeing the real-world need for the systems you are making.
Excited to learn from you all and would love to connect with others who are making the transition from bespoke services to scalable AI products.
