I Built a Voice Agent Demo with Retell + n8n in Under 3 Hours
Client asked:
“Can we build a voice agent that books appointments — but only for qualified leads?”
I said: give me 3 hours.
🔧 What I Used:
- Retell AI: for voice interaction (VAPI)
- n8n: for logic, lead scoring, and booking
🧠 Logic:
- Retell captures the call
- n8n listens for trigger phrases (“I’m interested”)
- Based on answers, assigns a score
- Qualified? It books a Calendly slot
- Not qualified? Ends politely and logs the interaction
💥 Bonus:
- Logs everything into Notion
- Slack ping when a hot lead books
It’s still a demo, but the client was blown away. Voice AI + no-code is no joke. Happy to share the JSON if you’re building something similar.
