How I Built and Sold an End-to-End AI Video Generation Automation for $500 Using n8n
Here's your post refined and ready to paste: I got tired of babysitting video renders at 2 AM. So I built an n8n workflow that generates videos while I sleep. Not a concept. Not a prototype. A production system that's been running for weeks. The Problem I Was Facing: I was spending 30 minutes per video doing the same repetitive tasks: - Wait for Veo3 to finish rendering (3-5 min, constantly refreshing) - Download the video - Write YouTube titles and descriptions - Upload to Drive - Upload to YouTube - Log everything in a spreadsheet If I wanted to test 10 video ideas, that's 5 hours of my day gone. The Solution: I built a system that handles the entire pipeline automatically. How It Works: The flow starts with simple video ideas in a Google Sheet (or generated in batches). n8n picks them up and turns them into detailed cinematic prompts for Veo3—camera angles, lighting, environment included. From there, the workflow: - Handles Veo3's asynchronous rendering with built-in wait and retry loops - Converts the final output to MP4 - Uploads to Drive - Generates YouTube metadata - Publishes the video - Logs every step - Sends me a Gmail confirmation Once triggered, it runs end-to-end on its own. If anything fails: - I get an email with the exact error, operation ID, and retry count - No digging through logs - I know exactly what broke and where Real Results: ✅ Queue 20 ideas before bed → wake up to 20 rendered, uploaded videos ✅ Multiple clients paid $200+ for similar end-to-end automations ✅ Generated 150+ videos in 3 weeks ✅ Gave me back 20+ hours per week Every video used to require me to remember: Did I check the render? Did I rename the file? Did I write a description? Did I log it? The automation doesn't just do those tasks. It removes the mental overhead of tracking them. Want to build your own? Help please
Hey everyone, I’m running into an issue with a calendar trigger in n8n and I’m stuck. Goal / Setup: When the boss (only one specific person) creates a new calendar event, a workflow should automatically start and send an email to all employees. Important detail: Yesterday this setup was already working, but at that time the email did NOT yet include the event title, date, time, or description. Today, after adding those fields (title, date, time, duration, description), the trigger does not fire at all anymore.
Help please
