Being able to solve your own problems is far more important than having a bunch of tools. If your goal is to build solutions for businesses and get paid, you need to be self-sufficient and figure things out on your own.
A standard thing I keep seeing is, for example:
- I'm lost and I don't know what to focus on
- I don't know what to learn next
- How do I use Claude
This is not hating on the idea of asking questions. It's more about the fact that you have access to Google, Perplexity, and AI to help you. The first step is to do your research, compile it, and come to a conclusion. If you can't do this, it will be hard to solve problems, because you'll be asking for help at every single step.
I'm grateful I have this skill and know what to ask and how to solve problems. But to build up that muscle, you need to use it as often as possible.
