Guys, I need some genuine advice. I’m feeling really stuck right now.
I spent the last 30 days Vibe Coding a fitness MVP for a client. I followed his documentation strictly—built the "Zero Decision" logic, the "Locked Goal" system, deployed it to Vercel, and set up the GitHub repo. The app works perfectly.
Today, I went to deliver Milestone 1 (90% complete), and he sent me this: "The implementation looks like a traditional fitness tracker... a mismatch between the project vision and the execution direction. I think it would be better to mutually cancel this order."
I am devastated.
- I undercharged because I wanted the case study and the relationship.
- I promised my mom the money would be here in 15 days, and now I have nothing to show for a month of hard work.
- I even offered to pivot the UI (colors, landing page) for free to match his "psychological" vision, but he is pushing to cancel.
My Question to the Community: How do you handle a client who loves the logic but hates the "vibe" at the very end? Should I fight the dispute on Fiverr since the work is done based on the PDF requirements? Or do I take the loss and move on?
I put my heart into this. It feels unfair to lose everything because the "green wasn't calming enough" after the code is already written.
Any advice on how to save this deal or get paid for my time?
