Why AI Avatars Are Just One Piece of the AI Business Puzzle
Someone posted that you don't need AI twins or avatars to use AI in business - AI should be used for much more than creating avatars. This hit on something important about how AI service providers should structure their offerings.
Agreed. If you're an AI service provider, you should have these 3 components in your business: AI Assistants, AI Automations, and AI Agents. Having an AI Avatar is a form of AI Agent, similar to having an AI Agent for Customer Service or Appointment Setting.
But here's where people go wrong: They take AI Agents too far, hindering their growth potential. If you have AI handle anything to do with Persuasion - requiring Conscious Techniques rather than Unconscious Frameworks - then you're in the red zone.
The key distinction: AI should not handle anything to do with conscious activity coming from lived expertise. It should only do what it's been programmed to do, following linear systematic processes. Human judgment must remain for strategic decisions.
The implementation rule: There's nothing wrong with having an AI Avatar - but it should only be implemented if you have an AI Centric business. If your customers expect Humanized Services instead of AI-Powered Services, you risk breaking your operation.
The insight: Expectations are everything. Have AI-Powered top-of-funnel if you're an AI Centric Business, because the expectations stay congruent with the audience you're appealing to. Match your tools to your brand promise.
Hope you found this valuable! :)
