Which tool is better for automation workflows: MAKE or N8N?

I’m currently exploring tools to build workflow automations and I’m stuck between MAKE and N8N.

Which one do you recommend for building reliable automation systems?

Does N8N require coding skills to use effectively?

Is N8N really 100% free, or are there hidden costs when scaling up with more complex automations?
