Tired of AI Customer Service? Why You'll Soon Prefer Robots Over Humans
Someone posted: "I'm tired of AI already. It's all AI. No humans checking platforms. They're wrong most of the time. You can't talk to a human. Not looking forward to the future of AI." Here's why this resistance is temporary.
Their frustration: AI customer service is everywhere, often inaccurate, and removes human connection from support interactions. They want to go back to human representatives.
My prediction: AI will handle FAQs in customer support entirely and will also handle brand marketing sales calls with complete understanding of client situations. For new questions unrelated to the platform, ask community instead of representatives.
The efficiency reality: AI cannot help you make new decisions, but it can guide you in already-validated decision paths. It's meant for total efficiency, not creative problem-solving.
The cultural shift: If you're tired of hearing robot voices over the phone, as your friends and family get used to it, so will you. People purchase, wear, and say things without conscious thought due to groupthink enabling automatic behavior.
The inevitable preference: When AI becomes culturally normalized, you'll look forward to AI answering your phone calls rather than a human who might be having a bad day. Consistency beats unpredictable human moods.
The strategic insight: Current AI frustrations come from implementation during transition periods. Once systems mature and cultural acceptance grows, AI customer service will feel more reliable than human representatives who bring personal variables to professional interactions.
Hope you found this valuable! :)
