The reality I was ignoring.
Once I realised it, leads came easy.
I used to market AI services to prospects I wish I had - credit card in hand, ready to buy.
But unfortunately…
The market doesn't work like that.
Prospects are curious. They’re exploring. They’re open…
But not committed.
They don’t wake up thinking “I’m ready to buy automation today.”
What they're wondering is:
"What could AI do for us?"
"Would this even work in our setup?"
"Is this worth the headlines?"
→ So what you want to do is align your message to that state of curiosity.
Then they’ll move towards your AI service.
By aligning with curiosity first, you:
✓ Lower resistance (buying feels optional, not forced)
✓ Build trust by showing you understand their current mindset
✓ Create a natural path from curiosity → intent → decision, instead of trying to skip steps
The key to marketing AI services is to meet your prospects where they are, not where you need them to be.
You're not converting curiosity.
You're feeding it.
Curiosity is currency. Don't spend it all at once.
