Here's my take: What "evil" services are you witnessing being offered in the market?
From what I'm seeing, do you think faceless content and faceless ads are unethical?
The reality is, we're seeing platforms like YouTube demonetizing AI content - so I'm curious if that's the equivalent to spam.
We've seen email spam services like Instantly.
We've seen DM spam services like PhantomBuster that have been regulated by platforms like Instagram.
Let me be honest: The publisher responded that these services aren't inherently unethical - they're tools that can be abused.
But that doesn't necessarily make email malevolent, it makes the bad actors malignant and opportunistic.
Headless YouTube content and automatic content theft like clip channels come to mind as unethical.
Here's where it gets interesting: The danger highlighted is sycophancy to the user and validation of fringe esoteric ideas that aren't rooted in fact or evidence.
Presented as true by ersatz oracles and exacerbation of existing mania or personality disorders.
This reveals the real ethical concern with AI tools.
The framework that matters: It's not the automation itself that's problematic - it's how people use it to manipulate, deceive, or validate dangerous thinking.
The tools amplify human intentions, both good and bad.
The question becomes: how do we use these tools responsibly?
Bottom line: AI worship and cult leader status isn't the goal.
Responsible implementation that enhances rather than replaces human judgment is.
The real danger isn't the tools - it's the people who use them to exploit others.
