I turned my whole business group into an AI-run operating system with Claude Code

This week I finally built something I've wanted for years: one place that runs my entire business, and Claude Code operates it.

Background: I run a few companies here in South Africa, an IT firm, a software dev company, a marketing agency, and a tech holding with a handful of SaaS products. For 20 years all of that lived in my head and in scattered folders. No single tool ever fit how I actually work.

So I stopped looking for a tool and built my own operating system. Plain folders and markdown files, driven by Claude Code. What's inside it now:

Every business has its own home, with Marketing, Sales, Product/Dev and Operations/Finance sections
A full architecture map: who owns what, the % splits, the legal structure, and where I want it to go
My personal brand as its own space (LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and my Skool communities, this one included)
It knows every web app my dev team has built, and how to run and deploy each one
It references every other Claude project I've built this year, so nothing ever starts from scratch

Here's the part that matters for this community: I didn't fill in a template. I told Claude Code how my business actually works, and it structured itself around me. When I had ownership wrong, I corrected it once and it fixed it everywhere. I dropped a channel I don't use, it adjusted. I added my communities, done in seconds.

That's the difference. You're not learning someone else's system. You're building your own that understands your business better than anything you can buy, with an agent that can actually act inside it.
