I Still Can't Believe What n8n is Able to Do for My Business! 6 Wins to Share
WIN #1
The last couple of days, I’ve been learning how to sync two properties in Notion so they automatically update across databases.
It’s been YEARS since I started using this Offer Database in Notion, which holds all my priority CTAs for my business brands.
Yesterday, I finally cracked the code: now, when I add a relation page to my Content Database, it automatically populates the content page CTA with sales copy.
This is HUGE for my team, no more manually linking or phrasing CTAs! (Which some of them really struggle with)
The Offer Database already has the correct links and verbiage for inviting people to take action.
WIN #2
Speaking of Notion, I also created a Favorite Code Snippet Database.
It’s basically a bookmark system for my favorite n8n nodes.
Now, I can just click a button and paste them into any workflow canvas.
I’ve already saved some nodes from troubleshooting previous projects, so it’s super convenient to reuse these building blocks in similar automations.
WIN #3
Another win? I built a User Memory Database in Notion.
It syncs with my AI software (Skills Unlimited AI Studio) via API.
Whenever my user memory updates in my AI Studio, it automatically reflects in my Notion database for my main 2 brands.
This means my Prompt Database always has access to the latest user memory data.
It’s a huge time-saver because I don’t have to rewrite the context of my business for every new prompt.
WIN #4
I recently took Jonathan Mast’s online challenge (he’s one of my top AI educators).
It’s all about creating engaging thread posts for especially Facebook but also other social media, something that’s been blowing up lately.
He gave us custom GPTs to streamline the process, and I’ve been modifying his framework to automate it further.
Now, I can convert my video transcripts into thread posts with just a click.
I struggled a bit with the prompts at first, but last night, I had a big breakthrough.
I asked his custom GPT to give me a set of rules that an LLM would understand to make great thread posts & hooks.
Once I added it to my Prompt Database, the results were INSTANTLY amazing.
I’ve already created five posts ready for publishing while I was testing and tweaking the automation and feel like I’m 80% of the way to fully automating thread creation.
Automating this process was one of my company's monthly missions and I already much further in my monthly goals then I projected I would be by now!
WIN #5
Oh, and here’s another win: I figured out how to add code blocks to Notion text properties via n8n form.
It took some trial and error, but now, I can upload large code snippets and correctly format them automatically as copy and paste ready snippets.
I’ve bookmarked the n8n form setup so it’s easier than ever to save reusable code snippets for my automated content machine.
WIN #6
Finally, on Friday, I recorded my first tech tutorial using a large listicle format!
It covers the 24 biggest mistakes I made while automating Notion with n8n, plus the biggest tips and lessons I learned since starting 4 months ago about combining these 2 tools specifically.
It took longer than expected, but I’m proud of how it turned out.
If you’d like the link when it’s uploaded, let me know in the comments!
What about you?
What have you been building or automating lately?
I’d love to hear your highlights or progress, let’s share and learn from each other!
