How Do You Save Tokens When Building Agentic AI?

Hey everyone! I'm still pretty new to the world of automations and AI, and lately I’ve been experimenting with building chatbots to help our business run smoother even when we’re taking a day off.

While it’s been really exciting, I’ve started noticing that sometimes these bots use a lot of tokens… which, as we know, also means more money spent.

So I wanted to ask: What are your tips or best practices for keeping token usage (and costs) low when working with agentic AI or building automation-driven bots?
