Anyone Solved Duplicate Message Deliveries in Instagram Bots?
Hello! I’m building a chatbot for Instagram, and I’ve run into an issue I’m hoping someone here has experience with. Most times it works just fine. But sometimes, when a user sends a message, Instagram delivers the same message to my webhook two or three times. As a result, my bot processes it multiple times, replies repeatedly, and in my case, ends up booking multiple Zoom calls for the same request. Has anyone worked with Instagram messaging and encountered this behavior?

@Juan Ignacio García Galaverna Hi Juan, yes I was able to solve it. What I noticed is that when duplicates come through, the ID isn’t the sender’s ID but my own page’s ID. It seems like Instagram sometimes resends the message with your own/page ID. So I added a filter node that checks the sender ID. If it matches my page ID, I just block it off. That stopped the duplicate processing. Also, keep in mind there’s a 5-second rule with Meta webhooks (Instagram and Messenger). Your bot has to respond with 200 OK to the Meta endpoint quickly. If not, Meta assumes you didn’t receive the message and resends it. Since adding that filter + making sure I return 200 OK within the 5s window, I haven’t had any issues. Hope that helps, and I’m sure you’ll get it working too!

@Kirill Zolygin I’m not using ManyChat. I’m just using a direct webhook setup in n8n with the app I created in Meta Developer.
Can a Bot Fully Handle Calendly Scheduling and Cancellations?
Hi everyone, I’m currently exploring ways to have my bot help people book calls directly through the chat. Ideally, I’d like the bot to be able to: - Show users what dates and times are available - Let them pick a slot right in the conversation - Automatically create the booking on their behalf - Also handle cancellations if they ask I’m using Calendly for scheduling. I know the simplest approach is to just share a booking link, but it would be great if the bot could handle the entire process end to end. Does anyone know if this is possible with Calendly’s API, or have experience implementing something similar? Any tips or examples would be much appreciated!

Hi I'm new to this and I have a newbie question. I created an AI chatbot in Manychat using N8N. The tools I have are google docs with different contents that the AI Agent can use to respond. The other tools which are the docs are working fine and when I ask something it responds to me in Instagram without any problem. But when I ask about questions that are related to the "PATTERNS AND GUIDES1" (see in the tools), it executes in n8n, but it doesn't send the message in Instagram. By any chance do you know why?
