How do you deliver Claude Code agentic workflows to clients?

Quick question for anyone building with Claude Code / agentic workflows:

When you build automations for clients, what’s the cleanest way to deliver it?

Do you:

build it in your own setup then transfer?

or build it directly in the client’s setup from day 1?

And what does a proper handover look like (files/docs/process)?
