How do you automate whilst working 9-5

I am working in a 9-5 role, what tools can I use that will help me my normal day to day activities, I am an IT Professional and wish to try to automate some to help clients but I can see that reporting could be a good thing as I haven't come across like that as of now where a monthly or weekly report is sent to IT managers on their estate.

I'll be frank, since joining, I haven't completed the 7 day challenge and wish to find a nice where I can attract clients as I feel AI automation is a buzz word.

Any input would be appreciated as i'd like to start my own AI agency with real work
