HIRING: Back-end Automation Developer
For a new project at our agency, we're hiring one or more back-end automation developers. The project specifically involves developing a range of automations linked to a wholesale platform. This platform has well-documented APIs, and we have direct lines of communication to request changes or tweaks where needed.
We'll be developing a suite of back-end automations that integrate email, the wholesale tool, PDF parsing capabilities, etc. Essentially, it's about linking all APIs properly and enhancing the flow with features such as data extraction from emails and PDF parsing.
Once developed, we'll modularly roll out this suite of solutions as a semi plug-and-play offering for their clients - thousands of businesses. So we're looking to expand our team to gradually take on the growing workload.
Some of the things we're looking for:
  • Strong coding experience is an absolute must—you are comfortable working across both no-code and code environments, but have strong proficiency in actual coding.
  • Significant experience connecting APIs using documentation (not tools like Zapier, etc.).
  • Experience designing modular solutions for future semi plug-and-play use (this includes some API development—FastAPI and the like—but more importantly, designing the overall architecture and data storage setup so we can reuse the same backbone, tweak/build per client, and get 100% of the result with 20% of the work).
  • Experience automating real back-end business processes and solving practical problems.
  • Ideally: experience working with tech departments to optimize software and APIs so that our solutions and integrations work efficiently.
  • Availability during Dutch business hours, with a willingness to work some extra hours when needed to meet deadlines.
  • Long-term commitment and flawless English communication skills.
If this sounds like you, please reach out to me with information about your background and some of the projects you've worked on. I'm not looking for a no-code developer—coding and back-end experience is absolutely essential for this role.
