🚀 Built an automated Reddit lead finder - here's how it works
Spent the past week building this and thought I'd share in case it helps anyone.
The problem I was solving:
Manually scrolling r/sales, r/entrepreneur, r/startups for 10-15 hours/week looking for people asking about specific services. By the time you find hot leads, 10 others already replied.
What I built:
Automation that monitors Reddit 24/7 and catches leads automatically:
- Runs every 8 hours (3x daily)
- Searches custom keywords across all subreddits
- Saves qualified leads to Airtable
- Tracks engagement status
- Zero manual work after setup
Tech stack:
- Make.com for automation (free tier works)
- Reddit RSS feeds for data
- Airtable for database/tracking
Results:
- 40-60 qualified leads captured daily
- 10+ hours/week saved
- Never miss opportunities while sleeping
Built this for 2 clients so far and it's been working really well.
If anyone's doing Reddit lead gen manually, happy to share more details on the setup. Also taking on 2-3 more builds this month if anyone wants one built for them.
