Best way to build an auto-updating YouTube video database?

I want to curate videos from two specific channels into a searchable database and have new uploads pull in automatically. Cheapest thing I've found so far is NotebookLM — good for querying, but it won't auto-update itself.

Curious what others use for the auto-ingestion part: channel RSS + an automation tool into Airtable/Notion? The YouTube API? Something I haven't thought of? What's your setup?
