Hey everyone,
I want some honest advice from people who are already working in AI automation.
I started learning AI automation in 2025. I understood the tools and concepts, but I got stuck when it came to real-world application — like:
- How do you actually deliver automation projects to clients?
- Who pays for APIs (OpenAI, tools, etc.) — me or the client?
- How do you price and structure these services?
- How do you even get clients for automation?
Because of that confusion, I switched to something simpler — building websites using AI. I’ve been doing that for the past 2–3 months and got a few clients, so I understand that model better.
But now I feel like I’m falling behind in AI automation.
I see people using tools like Make.com, Zapier, AI agents, etc., and I don’t fully understand: - What is actually working right now in 2026?
- Are people still using no-code tools like Make.com? - Or is everything shifting to custom code and AI agents?
I want to get back into automation, but this time properly — with real delivery, real clients, and a clear system.
If you’re currently working in this space, I’d really appreciate your honest advice:
- What should I focus on right now?
- What skills/tools actually matter today?
- How do you structure and deliver automation projects to clients?
Thanks in advance 🙏
