Alright y’all—back again with more AI shenanigans inside Skool.
So listen—I don’t love AI agents. In fact, I usually not "hate" them. But rn it's too much hype, too little delivery. They screw up simple stuff like replying to emails or booking calendar links.
BUT—if you use 'em for pulling info, surfacing data, making sense of chaos? Then they get interesting. Like, real interesting.
Been playing with n8n again (yeah I know... again).
Here’s what I cooked up:
- Agent pulls Skool metrics with an API call
- Drops ‘em straight into a Google Sheet—so now I’ve got a nice clean history of churn, signups, visitors, etc.
- Added another API that fetches all upcoming Skool calendar events (super useful for planning launches + engagement)
- Hooked it up to a little AI chat agent that answers stuff like:
- It grabs data from the Sheet + Skool API and spits out answers in plain English (no hallucinating nonsense either).
It’s not some magical unicorn that runs your business, but it’s helpful AF if you just want fast context—like a GPT that actually knows what’s going on inside your Skool.
Also experimented with using it inside Ryan Duncan’s community. Pulled the whole event calendar, scheduled stuff, and double-checked timezone logic. Solid results.
This is really just a sandbox project right now—just sharing the build as I go. If you wanna mess around with HTTP requests in Skool and try this yourself, happy to show you how I set it up. Just don’t leak your API keys like an amateur. 😅
Anyway—curious if anyone else is building stuff like this? Would love to riff. Drop ideas below if you're cooking up something weird.
Let’s make Skool smarter. 🧠⚒️
