15 years of software dev. and testing experience...

yesterday i talked to an appicant on the phone who had 15 years of deep software dev. and testing under his belt telling me he had sent already 200 application. and i would only have 2 weeks max. to make a decision to hire him for my clients team, because then he would need to make a decision to change his job industry completly...

he said alsmost earning the same money..

he considering two options - 1. truck drive 2. train driver making up to 5k after tax. which is not much more then he would earn. in software..
