Start Here: choose one thing to build

Cut one sentence in half
Take one sentence from your website or an AI draft. Remove words that don’t change the meaning. Example: “We provide comprehensive assistance with the creation of email content.” Becomes: “We write customer emails.” Share your before and after. Keep private details out.

Turn a rough note into a clear email
Fictional source note: “Roof inspection moved to Thursday at 10. Customer needs to confirm.” A useful draft: “Your roof inspection is now Thursday at 10 a.m. Does that time work for you?” Before sending, confirm the date and time zone. The job is to make the message easier to use. Extra words don’t help.

Write the facts before the prompt
Before asking AI to write a customer email, give it four things: • Who will read it • The facts it can use • The action the reader should take • What is still unknown Add: “Flag missing details. Don’t fill them in.” Try it on one email you need to write this week.

Start with one customer and one deliverable
“I do AI” leaves a customer with a lot to figure out. Try describing a service this way: “I help [specific type of business] create [specific deliverable] from [material they already have].” Example: “I help local gyms turn their class schedule and coach tips into a weekly email.” Today's task: write one sentence using that format. Keep it small enough that you could make a sample this week. Post your sentence below. If it takes a paragraph to explain, narrow it down.
