Daily Productivity Prompt 4-26-2026
Small businesses pay recruiters 3,000 to 5,000 dollars every time they fill a role, and most of them are desperate because they can't afford a staffing agency on retainer. You can start a recruiting side hustle tonight with Claude and a LinkedIn account. Find a small business that's hiring; check local Facebook groups, Craigslist, or Indeed. Reach out and offer to fill the role for a flat fee, paid only when they hire your candidate. Now paste the job description into Claude and say: "Act as a senior technical recruiter. Here's a job description. Write me a Boolean search string for LinkedIn, a cold outreach message sequence - first touch, follow-up, and break-up - and a 10-question phone screen scorecard ranked by the five traits that predict success in this role." ================== PROMPT ================== Act as a senior technical recruiter with 15 years of experience. Here's a job description I need to fill: [paste full JD]. Do the following: (1) Write a Boolean search string I can paste directly into LinkedIn search to find candidates matching this role — include title variations, key skills, and exclusions for irrelevant matches. (2) Write a 3-message cold outreach sequence — first touch (personalized, under 300 characters for LinkedIn InMail), a follow-up 3 days later, and a polite break-up message. Tone: direct, not corporate. (3) Build a phone screen scorecard with 10 questions. Rank the five most predictive traits for success in this specific role. Include a 1-5 scoring rubric for each question so I can compare candidates objectively. Follow-up after screening: Here's the candidate's resume and my phone screen notes: [paste both]. Write a candidate summary brief for the hiring manager that includes: top 3 strengths mapped to the JD requirements, 2 risk areas with mitigation suggestions, culture fit assessment, compensation expectations vs. budget, and a recommended 3-round interview plan with specific questions for each round.
