Did ypu know that, for 2026, there are 611 Medicare Advantage plans available in Florida and 10 stand-alone Medicare Part D plans, according to NerdWallet and Medical News Today. Remember, the number of available plans can vary depending on the specific county and state due to regional differences in plan offerings. Additionally, there are 10 types of standardized Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans that can be purchased. Medicare open enrollment ends Dec 7. Then, Medicare Advantage open enrollment period (MA OEP) runs Jan 1-Mar 31. Key details about the MA OEP... Who it's for: People currently enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan. What you can do: Switch to another Medicare Advantage plan. Drop your Medicare Advantage plan and return to Original Medicare (and enroll in a separate Part D plan if desired). Number of changes: You can make one change during this period. Effective date: The new plan coverage begins the first day of the month after the plan receives your request. For example, a change made in January takes effect on February 1.

Is it necessary to obtain AHIP Certification for Medicare and to certify for additional states, is there any company that will help pay for the additional certifications?
