There is no carrot…
I just got a good grades & rushed into my house to tell everybody
“Mom, I just got good grades”
Yeah John, thats nice.
She told me almost with no sign of emotional happiness
I thought to myself, whats the reason to even try if I don’t please my parrents
So I started getting worse grades in school ever since that moment…
One of my break points was when I started entrepreneurshit…
Because you see, I learned that you shouldn’t do actions based on getting validation, but based on the long term benefit that they give you…
DELAYED GRATIFICATION
This term changed my life forever…
So you cannot hope for the carrot, you always have to expect the stick to haunt you
Let your older, worse self haunt you…
And be always a little bit mad about doing something that you done for the sake of others

Do things, because you have to do them in order to succeed at your goals, not pleasing anybody
Sometimes you have to be ruthless
Choose the stick my friend
