Ally its Bedtime!!

A deep calm voice echoed from across the living room.

But dad im not tired yet....

Ally, you have school tomorrow her dad replied.

But can I stay up just 10 more.....

Ally, what did i say, as her dad's stern voice interrupted her mid sentence.

Ally Sighs.... OK. She mumbled.

Now give me hug a and kiss before you lay down princess.

Ally runs and jumps on her dad giving him a hug and kiss.

He started tickling her as he always does making her cry in laughter.

"I love you mommy!" Ally yells but heard no response.

I love you princess her dad says as she started skipping to her room. Her pink night gown was flowing with every step and she glided effortlessly in her matching pink furry house shoes. She was humming her favorite tune and as soon as she opened the door

Ahhhh... her sister jumped and screamed at her.

Scaring Ally as she leaped back hollering in terror.

Ally!! her dad yelled. Made her quickly tightened up.

Your such a scaredy cat said her older sister Alaina.

No im not. Ally proclaimed, while getting in the bottom bunk bed.

Alaina jumped on the top bunk than looked down at Ally barely holding herself over the edge.

And with a half hearted grin says "prove it."

How? Ally replied.

Ok.. well, you want to hear a scary story.

Ally desperately wanted to say no.. but didn't want to seem like a scaredy cat so she says Ok but it better be scary.

Alaina jumps down and points a light at the tree house their dad built for them last summer.

Do you believe in ghosts, Ally?

No. I dont think so.. Ally says..

Well, why not?

Because their not real and this is not a scary story Ally proclaimed.

They are..

Well, How do you know? Ally shakily says.

One day dad was driving pass that cemetery and I seen our old neighbor that died last month.

No you didn't Ally yelled.

I did Alaina said with a cold stale stare in her eyes than her facial expression turned to a ghostly pale tone.

You know how he would always wave at us and say hey pretty girls.

Yeah, ally replied.

Well when I waved back he turned and looked at me and his eyes were black. Like they were gone.

Nah aww ally yelped..

They were Alaina proclaimed. I seen it im telling you ghosts are real.

No.. Ally cried. your lying they aren't real.

Ally.. her dad yelled again walking into her room. Didn't I tell you it was bed time? Stop talking to yourself darling and go to bed..

Ally looked at her dad with a hurtful smile and said im sorry daddy.. goodnight.

Walking back to his chair to finish his movie heart in pain thinking about who Ally was talking to. His wife came out her office with a depressed sad look. She softly grabbed her husband's face and said baby they both been gone 2 years now. I know its hard but we have to move on.
