GidztheBoxer: "The Power of Reps in Dominating In the Ring"
Up-and-coming boxer, Gidztheboxer affectionately known as GTB visited my friends club last night and he gave a speech to encourage young boxers.
Here is what I got from his speech, Paraphrased.
“ When it comes to boxing, people think it’s all about talent. But truth is, it’s about the reps you put in. Think about it—every jab, every punch, every slip, it’s all repetition”.
Like Alex Hormozi says, you’ve got to put in 100x more effort than you think to get results. Talent can get you started, but it’s the grind that keeps you winning.
In the gym, it’s easy to see the guys who only show up once in a while versus the ones who put in the work day after day. You can’t fake reps. Whether it’s on the bag or sparring in the ring, the more you do, the sharper you get. You want that knockout punch? It’s built in those early mornings when no one’s watching.”
UPDATE : Hard work pays off see results here :
How many rounds of sparring or hours on the bag does it take before you really start feeling like you have self control in the ring? Share your experience let’s talk about how many reps you had to put in your business activities before you started to see results.
