The End of an Era. Honoring the Mission.
Hey everyone, If you haven’t been active in the group lately, I wanted to share an important update. Last week, I was formally asked by Skool to remove all references to Alex Hormozi and Acquisition.com IP from our group. This included the group name, descriptions, About Page, cover images, and most significantly, the Classroom. I complied fully and promptly with the request. While the community itself remains live and intact (posts, discussions, comments, and group history are all preserved), the Classroom has been removed. From the beginning, the mission of this group was to support Acquisition.com’s goal of making real business education available to everyone. I believe the group’s educational content strategy operated within the bounds of fair use and good faith, with clear disclaimers and transparency. But if this is the explicit direction from Acquisition.com and Alex Hormozi, I respect it. It is their platform, their brand, and their decision. To be clear: I am still a big “Hormozi” fan. That has not changed. I have supported their content, promoted the $100M Offers, Leads, and Money Models books, bought the $100M Playbooks bundle, gave hundreds of free books to our community, and even visited their HQ in Vegas in 2024. I also sent several emails to ACQ about this Skool group, but I never heard back. That silence, combined with changes in how Skool prioritizes paid and private groups over free and public ones, made it clear that the writing was on the wall. This request was simply the final confirmation. Here is the truth. This community has been one of the most meaningful projects of my career. I cracked Skool’s growth engine early and we passed 10,000 members by curating and delivering real value, especially through the Classroom. It was never just a fan group. With the support of so many of you, I built this group solo, for free, using everything I have learned over the past two decades building online education systems. And along the way, I grew too. I went from founder and entrepreneur to investor and mentor.
The End of an Era. Honoring the Mission.
Who follows you is far more important than how many follow you.
Who follows you is far more important than how many follow you. Everyone is chasing lakhs and millions of followers. Big numbers. Big screenshots. Big ego boosts. But here’s the uncomfortable truth 👇 Most of those numbers don’t convert. I’ve seen creators with: • 100k+ followers • Viral reels • Massive reach …struggle to close meaningful business. And I’ve also seen the opposite. A smaller audience. But the right audience. People who: • Think deeply • Believe in personal & professional growth • Respect long-form conversations • Have the capacity and intent to invest in themselves That kind of audience will always outperform vanity metrics. 🎙️ This is exactly why podcasting works for me. On my podcast, I interview: Entrepreneurs, CEOs, Leaders, High-calibre thinkers. No clickbait. No shallow motivation. Just deep conversations that challenge how people think and grow. I don’t have a “huge” audience. But the people who listen understand depth. They don’t consume content for entertainment alone — they consume it for transformation. And because of that: • I’ve built strong relationships • I’ve created real authority • I’ve done great business • I’ve served incredible people 📌 Attention doesn’t build businesses. Alignment does. If the right people are listening, you don’t need millions of followers. You need: • Trust • Credibility • Meaningful conversations That’s the real power of podcasting. Quality audience > Quantity audience. Every single time.
Group Name Update: Welcome to “Accelerator University”! 🚀
Hey Everyone, On August 22, 2024, Sam Ovens, CEO of Skool, messaged me directly and told me that the Hormozi Team would like me to change the “Acquisition University” group’s name and logo. I immediately updated the logo and renamed the group to “Hormozi Community” for a few weeks, but I’ve now decided to rebrand our community to: “Accelerator University.” 🚀 From the start, I’ve always said I would "gift" this group to Leila and Alex Hormozi. My intention is to support Acquisition.com’s mission. As Alex Hormozi teaches, I wanted to demonstrate my skills by actually building the group itself. But the results of curating and publishing over 800 videos of Leila and Alex Hormozi on the Skool platform, led to a rapid organic growth of this group to over 6.8k members in ~6 months. This further focused and motivated me to build one of the best free and public communities on Skool. I originally created this group to scratch my own itch and hopefully highlight my skills to maybe one day join Hormozi's Team. But my understanding is that I might have been ahead of the curve since they were not hiring a Director of Education at Acquisition.com at this time. Therefore, I just continued to build and optimize this free and public group to help the thousands of members joining everyday. My goal was always to build this group for Leila and Alex Hormozi, to promote their mission, attract more companies to attend the workshop in Las Vegas, and or promote Alex’s books. By organizing and curating Leila and Alex Hormozi’s content, my goal was to shorten the time-to-value and make it faster and easier to consume their overwhelming amount of content. I was hoping their team would see our group as a new asset for their brand portfolio to build even more goodwill with their followers. And since Alex has The Skool Games, I was also hoping this group could be Leila’s community on Skool to promote Acquisition.com. As Alex Hormozi has stated many times, education is the only true legacy, and I strongly believe that Acquisition University would truly advance their mission: "to make real business education available to everyone."
Wow this place is amazing
I am just starting my little business and I think I just found the ultimate jackpot. I’m so grateful for this amazing place and I wish to learn and grow here along side with other entrepreneurs and business owners!
How I learned to Love Rejection🤗👨‍💻🎇☃️🌲
When you're building from scratch, learning to deal with rejection should be embraced as a strength. Growing up, our parents were so protective of us that they would take offense when a neighbor stopped us from watching movies📺 or playing games🎮🎲 in the house to make space for the elders—those they believed understood better than us children. Their anger😠, in hindsight, often stemmed from the frustration of not being able to afford our own home TV📺. Because our parents shielded🙈🔰 us from being ignored or rejected😔, we didn’t develop the resilience to face those feelings. As a result, many of us grew up avoiding spaces where we sensed the possibility of rejection. In my adult life, however, learning to embrace rejection🤗👏 has become one of my greatest strengths. It’s one of the reasons I enjoy marketing🛒 and lead generation. Just this month, I’ve lost count of the number of rejections😔😌👨‍💻 I’ve faced—both online and offline. For many young people, that kind of repeated rejection might be enough to drive them toward unhealthy coping mechanisms like drugs. But for me, the _Self-Competence Blueprint_ has fortified my self-belief. Rejection no longer gets to me. I need a huge hug🤗🙈☃️🌲🎇😎 Who else love Rejection? 🤗 👨‍💻
