R & R's (Kaden's Version)
Have been radio silent here for a fat minute, and in that time had the opportunity of signing my first two clients while starting to gain more leads by the day. Wanted to share this quick daily habit in case it provides value to someone. I've never been huge on journaling, but had an idea based on the Hormozi quote "We need to be reminded more than we need to be taught" that's helped me a lot in the recent past. I did a challenge with a group of fellow entrepreneurs in similar niches to mine this past month where we listed our output for the day (outreach, content posted, calls booked, etc.) - while this was helpful from an accountability perspective, I noticed I started focusing too much on what I was doing compared to what I was learning from it. So I created this daily habit to get the best of both: I call it my daily R & R's (Reminders and Reflections): At the start of the day, I write one brief thing to remind myself of to work/focus on that day. Today's example: "If you failed to learn during your work, then you learned to fail" - to remind myself that it's not just about my output, but what I learn from it at the end of each day At the end of each day, I write one brief reflection (or multiple if there's a lot I want to remember when I wake up). Today's reflection: "Get out of your own way" - to remind myself to seek to understand before judging when learning new information. Now the first thing I see each day is a reminder, and the last thing I focus on each day gets better retained since sleep after learning something stores it in into the brain more efficiently. Hopefully that provides value to someone - hope you all have the best days of your entire life ๐Ÿ”ฅ
