So I’ve been quite impressed by the Suqraat & Liam Blue Shine but would love advice from people who have compared both together with the respective ADG to notice the differences, every YouTuber has a different take on each fragrance so what better place to seek advice from then our very own Brotherhood. At this point in time Lattafa is a good buy because of budget constraints. But Is Lattafa a worthy substitute? And if you want to recommend another Lattafa, please go ahead and list it down. I won’t bother with Asad because I have Sauvage Elixir so yeah, I’m basically after a good cheap freshie that has a sorta similar scent profile to ADG EDT or Profondo EDP.

I’ve been searching for some new fragrances lately, and it made me think- why not just ask the brotherhood? So, brothers, what are your top 5 favorites of all time? Feel free to answer below or create your own post. I’m just looking to hear what puts a smile on your face. Here’s my all time top 5: 5) Boss Bottled Absolu- perfect date night fragrance 4) YSL Tuxedo- every time I wear this, I get a compliment. EVERY SINGLE TIME 3) Kilian Angel Share- warm, intoxicating, special occasions only for me 2) Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman- so easy to wear and completely addictive 1) My all time favorite: Creed Absolu Aventus- love from first sniff. Aventus was my daily for years and then this came out. I bought 3 bottles because it was a limited edition at first. Glad it’s here to stay. I’m on bottle 2 now, and you can bet that when that one runs out, I’ll be getting more! Hope to hear from the BOS what you love!

What’s the first perfume that made you fall in love with fragrances?

Hey brothers, I’m looking for a rich, warm spicy scent to add to my cooler weather collection. Fragrantica lets you search by specific notes but not main accords like “warm spicy”, so I could use some crowdsourcing help. Ideally a designer or accessible niche (not crazy expensive but not a cheapie/dupe, and not too challenging). I‘ve got tobacco and vanilla focused fragrances pretty well covered - l don’t mind some sweetness in the new one, but I’d love more depth and richness that doesn’t go in an overly sweet direction. I like amber, woods and spices, but leather, oud and boozy notes can be a challenge. Iris, Rose, Plum, Florals, Almond and Oud notes are a hard no. Any suggestions? What’s your favorite? In terms of cooler weather frags that have a Fragrantica “warm spicy” accord at or near the top, I have and love: - TF Noir Extreme, Oud Wood - ATH Tabac Extreme - Swiss Arabian Incense 01 - Lalique Ombré Noire - Boss Bottled Absolu - YSL La Nuit EDT Here are some near misses I’ve tried: - Sauvage Elixir: comes very close but I don’t love the licorice and maybe the nutmeg. Same for Gisada Ambassador Intense - Spicebomb Extreme: nice but I get something like a strong cumin which I don’t love. Don’t love the other flankers either - Bulgari MIB: nice but something about it (the leather, I think) doesn’t work for me. - Oud for Greatness: I really want to like this one but don’t think I can get past the earthiness - Blonde Amber: comes close, but it didn’t blow me away for the price - I have yet to find an Amouage warm spicy scent that I like… Boundless, Decision and Outland are no’s What’s your favorite?
