Old School Jump Rope and Bodyweight
Today was an old school jump rope and bodyweight circuit: 1) 50 skips and 15 push-ups 2) 50 skips and 15 body weight squats 3) 50 skips and 20 reverse crunches The goal was to get through 5 rounds, but I ran out of time after 4. So that was 600 skips, 60 push-ups, 60 squats, and 80 reverse crunches. As a finisher I finished out the skipping and did 150 skips.

@Tom Cody Thanks. The jump roping is getting better, I had a really nice rhythm with the boxer skip today.
Marchman Plate Workout
Yesterday I tried this workout to do something different: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpQoGIez66o ~THE WORKOUT~ (a) Halos (10 reps/direction) (b) Front Raises (10 reps) (c) Curl to OHP (10 reps) (d) OHP (10 reps) (e) Curl (10 reps) (f) Horizontal Extension (10 reps) (g) Push Up (10 reps) (h) Row (10 reps) (i) OH Reverse Lunge (10 reps) (j) Alternating Pinch Grip High Pulls (10 reps/side) [Perform 3 Rds. - Rest 2-3 min. b/w each] I used a 25 pound plate for this. I tried to not put the plate down until the entire round was over, but I was only able to do that the first time through. This was much harder than I though it would be. I liked it though. Finisher was 40 body weight squats on the slant board, 20 goblet squats with the plate on the slant board, and then 5 minutes of jump rope.

Burpees and Rope
Monday morning workout was a burpee and jump rope descending pyramid. The goal is to go as fast as possible. This was a great workout because I was very short on time today. 10 burpees + 50 jumps 9 burpees + 50 jumps 8 burpees + 50 jumps . . . 1 burpee + 5 jumps. I completed this in 11:50. I think that is pretty good, especially considering that I may have repeated round 5 because I kind of lost track of where I was. Based on my notes it looks like I hadn't done this workout since February and my time back then was 13:30 so that is almost two minutes knocked off the time!

Did this workout again today and clocked in at 11:35. Better than the previous time I posted the workout but back in November I did it in 9:42. I aim for the 10 minute mark but it varies based on fatigue and conditions. Today I worked out in the garage and it was probably below freezing, which definitely affected my breathing. Finisher was 10 pull ups and 500 more skips.
Soviet EMOM
I tried this workout today with double 16 kg bells, and ooooh boy it was a doozy.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sr0PP6nSOV8 Workout Breakdown - 20 minute EMOM Odd Minutes: Kettlebell Push-Ups (4 reps) Kettlebell Rows (4 reps) Kettlebell Cleans (4 reps) Double Kettlebell Front Squats (4 reps) Even Minutes: Double Kettlebell Swings (12 reps) I made it through 10 minutes before I had to stop. This was way more work than I thought it would be. This can be modified using lighter bells, making it an ENON (every 90 seconds), or lowering the reps. Or I can just keep trying and see how many more minutes I can make it each time. Not sure how I will proceed but I know I want to try again.

Trevor EMOM
Today's workout was an EMOM from Trevor's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmX3UZEQdoI Format: 20-minute EMOM Minute 1: • 5 snatches per arm (10 total) Minute 2: • Push-ups (pick a number you can sustain all 20 minutes) - I chose 10 push-ups Minute 3: • 5 thrusters per arm (10 total) Minute 4: • 5 rows per arm (10 total) Repeat this 4-minute cycle 5 times = 20 minutes total No rest after the 4 minute cycle, go right back into minute 1. This was a smoker. I used a 16 kg bell and was gassed at the end. If you watch the video he says next steps is to use the same weight and go for 30 minutes, and once you master that you can up the weight and go back to the 20 minute EMOM. As a finisher I did 20 wrestler halos with a 12 kg bell: https://youtube.com/shorts/yS-IJ_owg08?si=kaym4rvYz4LYkzFN
