Do you think to coach others you need to figure out all of your problems first?
When listening to many coaches out there, I got the feeling, that they’ve made it. Their story is often: “My life was so bad, but then I learned X,Y,Z and now its all sunshine behind me” I’ve followed many programs, because I wanted to feel the way they described. In the end I was often wondering: “Am I too stupid for this?” I have learned many tools to help people, opening their Akashic Records, Hypnosis, Positive Psychology, etc. What kept holding me back, was that I always waited for that state, where I’d have figured it all out, to present myself as this person, who “made it”. I love people, who despite of having a coaching business show up authentic, vulnerable and real. I think sometimes it’s very empowering, that others share our struggles, destructive thoughts and not so good habits, which make us human. In all this “becoming the best version of me” dynamic I enjoy those connections, where imperfection is nothing to get rid of, but something to accept for the sake of authentic self-love. I’m really curious… what’s your perspective on that?
