The Ritual of Showers
The smallest routine in your life can go a long way. Take showers, for example. To me, it's a process that transcends a physical cleanse. I picture all the troubles, worries, and concerns flushed from the system as I watch the water seep into the drainage. I feel reinvigorated as I step out of the shower, all fresh and alert to take my work to the next level. What about you? What are some daily rituals that boost your day?

I totally agree. This is why I started making my own soap, so I could elevate my shower ritual.

@Laurenzo Overee I discovered I could make my own soap with ingredients that don’t irritate my sensitive skin during lock down. Now I am truly obsessed with Soapmaking. I haven’t bought any for years. Shower time is truly a ritual. I so hear you 😊
The Laws of Manifestation
I’m sure you’ve heard it. Ask the universe and it listens. Speak to it often and you’ll form a bond. What bond you might ask? Essentially, you can ask anything and it shall come true. So, I’d like to remind each of you to spend some time. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a minute, 30 minutes, an hour, or however long you’d like. Bless that time with conscious thoughts. Healthy thoughts. Believe that it’s true even when it hasn’t happened yet. Have faith. But more importantly, act upon it to make those requests a reality. A common misconception is that you don’t need to actually do anything to manifests your dreams. That’s simply untrue. You’ll need to put in the effort to some extent. If you want $, you’ll need to at least buy a lottery ticket. Money doesn’t just materialise. Reality has rules too. I The same goes for good health or having the perfect romantic partner. You don’t just sit at home through inaction, meditate and you’ll be super healthy with the love of your life knocking on your door. Do some exercises, and improve your social life. You get the drift! Why does it matter in this Skool? Well, it’s a reminder that true mindfulness and progress begins with action. Intention plus action, multiplied by days, and you’ll start seeing the universe respond. The Real Reason Your Writing Isn’t Hitting
Your ideas aren’t the problem. Your editing is. Most writers don’t struggle with creativity. They struggle with clarity, structure, and flow. That’s where editing comes in. Editing isn’t just fixing grammar. It’s sharpening your message. It’s cutting the fluff. It’s making every sentence intentional. If your writing feels “almost there,” don’t rewrite everything. Refine it. Write boldly. Edit strategically.

Absolutely. I’ve been editing and refining my autobiography for 10 years. I’m almost at a point where I’m happy with it 😂
I’m back
I’m back for real this time. I’m mighty glad to see that the group grew by a bit while I was away. I hope the numbers continue to expand. The group was meant to challenge notions. Notions about writing and how it’s a separate process from mindfulness. News flash: it isn’t. How you feel is how you’ll write. One of my fave authors of all-time, the late great Christopher Hitchens suffered during the early days of his career. But he received a life-changing advice from a veteran at the time. It was simply this: “Write the way you speak.” And if you’re not, you got to ask yourself why. Are you trying too hard to impress your audience? Are you lost in semantics? Perhaps you’re even trying to conceal your lack of knowledge by drowning readers in flowery syntax. Whatever it is, don’t do it. Just write how you’d speak and your unique, authentic voice will show itself. Mindfulness is an essential for speaking well. It’s difficult to express yourself well if you’re bothered or distracted. That’s why I came up with this Skool. I want to remind writers that sometimes all it takes to write your most seminal work is simply to focus. And I hope that this group helps you achieve that. It’s not rocket science but it’s equally if not more life-changing (I know but only a few space enthusiasts in my decades). It’s the science of the self. And I hope this message reaches you loud and clear. Stay motivated.
