Training Challenge #2: Self-Control
Let's go again. As it's almost time for New Years Resolutions, and we've just got through Xmas maybe we could do something around the theme of self-control. I'll allow you to interpret it as you wish, for example you could do some tempting leave-its or impressive holds. Same rules as before. When you've done it post a video here, when we've got enough entries I'll make a poll and the winner recieves a Β£10 Amazon Gift Card. Looking forward to your entries!

@Nick Benger it's really fun you get this flow state when it works which is really addicting , the results really show when you put the training in each week, Lumos really loved it and I really connect with him, I think we would of done well competing, it's a shame ( assuming i could remember the courses! ) in hindsight I wish I had done physio and hydro with him often or something to have built more muscle and fitness prior, whenever that would of prevented injury , not really sure , don't know exact cause, guess will never know, but it's a very common injury associated with it so yeah that's a downside, I don't think it's stressed enough when people join clubs/sports.

@Nick Benger he can do scent work ( he does love that ) we were doing hooper's which actually is when I realised something definitely wasn't right , I think adrenaline overrode the discomfort in agility but in hooper's he wasn't as interested. But yeah if I overdo it he starts skipping again :'( such a pita muscle to heal as you need to move it otherwise it shortens , but not move too much that it causes a tear :/ Weaves / sharp turn movements is what really aggravates it I think.
Day 1 & 2
Day 1: working on sit stand down cue, I really need to find a new word for stand because Lumos is having real hard time with it as too similar sounding , he's very tonal / body oriented so always struggle with cues. Day2. Just practicing with luring / heelwork Not sure how to link videos here 🫠
