Algo results and a request
Hi all - I just wanted to share my Fortuna results (strategy B) results since February. We just weathered two of the worst losing weeks only to end with the most profitable one I've had so far. I hope this gives some of you who are on the fence about the algo some confidence with it. This is my request - I'm happy to help and answer questions, but please don't email me with doom and gloom and how all the algo has done is blow accounts for you. I've heard a lot of that for the last couple of weeks and it's wearing on my heart. 😩 You can see what I've posted here that if you know what you're doing, the algo is pretty miraculous. No one is going to make you any guarantees but I've been doing this for 5 months now with great results in spite of the inevitable rough days or weeks. You can see that EVERY month has been profitable. If you've blown accounts, there are three factors contributing to your problem: you don't know what you're doing yet, you're being too aggressive, and we did just have a rough patch. To solve the issue of not knowing what you're doing, ask questions here. You can tag me if you need to but there are other people here who can help you, too. Make a decision on joining group one or two, where you'll get more focused coaching on using the algo intelligently. That's not a sales pitch - do it or don't, it's no skin off my nose, but you have a pretty incredible opportunity in front of you that I think you'd be unwise to ignore. Being too aggressive is an easy fix as long as you can be patient. For Fortuna, simply don't risk more than $200 per trade (most of my accounts are $100 and you can see where that has gotten me, but yes, it has taken 5 months to get here) and don't let it take more than 2 trades per day. Shut it off after an initial win and lock in the profit or the day. We can't do anything about market rough patches, but tackling the first two issues largely protect you from the third. The algo DOES work. If one person has success with it (and I'm one of many in the boardroom), you can too. You just need to stop being negative about it and trying to speed up the timeline by risking too heavy. 😂
