Willie Brown, Woody, Uncle Rufus, and Aunt Tee will be performing in Bowie, MD on Friday, April 24 and it's a free show. On Saturday he will be at Busboys and Poets in Hyattsville, MD for a cancer awareness fundraiser. Come on out and have fun.

Take your money and run. (Just kidding but not really). How do you cope after a performance goes sideways? I eat ice cream, cry, but then evaluate what could have gone better. Or I assess the situation (sometimes it’s not you but a client or booker who is cheap/hasn’t thought things through) and brainstorm on how to avoid that next time. Or I have a comeback up my character’s sleeve. I always say the only bad show is the show you don’t learn from. What do you do after that happens to you?

We all get in a rut from time to time. How do you stay motivated when you hit a wall with your ventriloquism? For me, I watch vents on YouTube whether it be the old legends like Bergen, Winchell or Lewis or the new jacks coming up to remember why I love making puppets talk so much. Or I take an acting, comedy or writing class to get my craft to the next place and find new ways to create and get around my blocks. What do you do?
