Unruly Kids
How do you deal with unruly kids in your audience? I find being good on my feet helps. (Having comebacks etc). What helps with you?

I never do comebacks with kids because it makes you the bad person. I just address what they are doing in a firm but still friendly voice. On occasion I have asked “Is there a parent with this young person? I think they’re bored, and maybe they want to do something else “

Joke books are only a springboard
One of my mentors told me the problem with dialogue books as they were written BY someone else FOR someone else. You can find nuggets in there but make sure you adapt them to fit you and your puppet.
