Anyone a Steeler fans?
Growing up in Pittsburgh my dad raised me to be a Pittsburgh team sports fan. I was at the game against the Ravens this weekend. As you all probably know it was typical Steelers - Ravens. Usually a struggle to the end.
Anyone a Steeler fans?

LOL I guess not. Seems hard to believe since the group online is available worldwide, right? No Raven fans to cuss me out either. LOL

@Susan Andreone hi Susan. Sounds like you have a good Italian surname. 😃i like guessing games so I guess that you may be from somewhere around Washi gton, Bridgeville, ir Carnegie. Am I close? I grew up and lived in Pittsburgh until I was almost 30. Same house all those years. We enjoyed our fresh bagels in my neighborhood. Can you guess the neighborhood?

Wednesday Wellness
Let's talk about wellness. Do you have a routine wellness practice? Daily or weekly activity, hobby or practice that keeps your body mentally and/or physically feeling good? It could be a walk, a hike, a class at the gym, yoga, meditation, journaling, massage, dance...Anything that helps you feel alive, vibrant or improves your mindset. What's your go to?

I walk as soon as i get home from work although if i work OT or have an appointment I blow off walking. A massage this week sounds nice.
JEEERRRY!
I still love Seinfeld and am surprised by people who say then never found it funny. It seems that people either love it or hate it. I guess Kathy GriffIn hates it. LOL

Sorry to say that was one of the few things my ex wife and I would enjoy and laugh together about.

💡 Wisdom Wednesday
Emotions don’t just happen to us. They’re created by the thoughts we practice...often on autopilot. When we don’t like how we’re feeling, the work isn’t to control the emotion. It’s to get curious about the thought behind it. Can you identify it? You can’t always choose what happens. But you can choose the story you keep telling yourself about it. And that choice changes everything: - How long you stay stuck - How quickly you recover - How open you are to a new possibility Reflection question: What’s one thought you have about your dating life right now that is not serving you that you would like to swap for a slightly more empowering thought? Not perfect, just kinder? Let me know in the comments. Example: Disempowering thought: I doubt I will ever find my person. More empowering thoughts: It is possible for me to find someone. I am growing and learning about myself through all of my past experiences. If finding love is possible for X (person you know), it could be possible for me. etc.

I like your first paragraph Dessi. When I understand my emotions I can better deal with situations or just calm down and feel good about understanding why I feel as I do.
