Feedback Requested!
Guys, I am teaching a men’s small group this fall. I’m trying to come up with a name and mission statement that will get the group fired up enough to charge the gates of Hell with super soakers and full bladders. Let me know what you think of this.

Glory to God
I want to share an awesome experience I had today. I was able to baptize my second born child and welcome him into the Family of God.

What are you praying for?
Have you ever paused to truly reflect on the nature of your prayers? Are your prayers focused on things within your control, or are you daring to ask for the miraculous intervention that only our Almighty God can provide? The greatest testament to our faith and a powerful way to worship The Master can be found in the content of our prayers. Our God is not bound by the limitations we perceive. He is the God who overcame death, the grave, and Hell. The challenges you face, no matter how daunting they may seem, are small in His sight. During our Earthly trials, it is all too easy to forget the boundless power of our Creator. It is in these moments that our faith is tested and strengthened. Remember, our God is limitless. He invites us to bring our biggest dreams, deepest desires, and most pressing needs to Him in prayer. So, how do your prayers reflect your faith? Are you praying big, bold prayers, asking God to move mountains in your life and the lives of others? Are you praying from the depths of your heart and soul, trusting that He hears and cares for every word you speak to Him? Our Father has entrusted us with many things—our families, our work, our communities, and our spiritual lives. Let us be faithful stewards of these blessings. Let us bring everything to Him in prayer. Pray with confidence, knowing that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). “Prayer is where we realize our power isn’t enough so was ask God to intervene with his power.”
What "flavour of anger" is holding you back?
What "flavour of anger" has held you back from walking in the light of Christ? Put them all away with the power of Holy Spirit - anger, wrath, malice, slander, obscene talk. Let Holy Spirit help you with your anger so that you can walk in the light of Christ... God Bless You!

Men, if we’re honest with ourselves, we all know that pride and anger are the two things that keep us from walking in the fullness of God’s plan for our lives.Pride blinds us to our need for God, convincing us that we can handle life on our own. Anger hardens our hearts and damages the relationships God calls us to cherish. Together, they build walls that block His Spirit from working freely within us. The practical application for us is to humble ourselves before the Lord and surrender our tempers. He replaces pride with grace and anger with peace. It is part of full submission to the Holy Ghost. He requires our submission, He requires us to get out of the way. When we submit and live in obedience to His commands we are vessels that He can use to carry His perfect will to others.

Faith can be powerful—but sometimes it can also feel like a touchy subject. How do you handle conversations when someone feels offended or misunderstood about it? Comment below 👇

When conversations become tense I try to lead with humility and patience. Listen first. I think the best way to show respect and give space for someone to lay it all out there is listen. We live in a time where the Church has hurt some people. I am always mindful that the people in a church hurt people, God never does. I am also intentional about trying to clarify, not to win an argument. Brothers, faith isn’t about proving someone wrong but about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Apostle Peter told us to speak the truth in love, weigh out your words carefully and focus on kindness. I had a professor in seminary that taught me to make my goal to always leave the door open for future dialogue.
