Dear God, thank You for this day and for being a God who is never absent, even when it feels that way. Your word in Mark 4:39 says, “Then He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, ‘Peace be still.’ And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” God, I’m in the middle of a storm right now, and just like the disciples, I’ve let the waves make me forget what You already said. You don’t promise smooth sailing, but You do promise to get me where You said I’m going. Help me hold on to that today instead of panicking over everything I can’t control. I’m choosing to rest in You, because if You’re not worried, then I don’t have to be either. Thank You for speaking peace over every storm in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Solitude with Jesus = Power and Authority through Holy Spirit... When you spend time with Jesus, you are strengthened in the Spirit of God, to act with power and authority over your life! How do people know that you have been with Jesus? Are you speaking and behaving like Jesus.... As you spend more time with Jesus.... You become more and more like Him... In your thoughts, words, and actions.... Can people see, feel, and hear Jesus when they hang out with you? Ask Holy Spirit to make you more like Jesus so that when people interact with you, they give all the glory and honour to Jesus! God Bless You!
