Dear God, thank You for this day and for being a God who is never absent, even when it feels that way. Your word in Mark 4:39 says, āThen He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, āPeace be still.ā And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.ā God, Iām in the middle of a storm right now, and just like the disciples, Iāve let the waves make me forget what You already said. You donāt promise smooth sailing, but You do promise to get me where You said Iām going. Help me hold on to that today instead of panicking over everything I canāt control. Iām choosing to rest in You, because if Youāre not worried, then I donāt have to be either. Thank You for speaking peace over every storm in my life. In Jesusā name, Amen. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. -Matthew 5:9
