Was your weekend a wake-up call?
How was your weekend? I hope everyone had a good one and that the folks with a holiday were able to enjoy it. My weekend was ...mixed. I loved the French toast my husband made from scratch. I also love having 1 of my sons home from college. But the heat is my friend. I know I'm not the only person suffering through this heat. But my chronic illness doesn't respond well to heat. Every day turned into a low-energy day. I had a wake-up call. ⏰Procrastination is a luxury I no longer have. I have to get things done early in the day if I want to get them done. ⏰I can't just wing it and do important tasks whenever. It's time for a routine. Tell us about your weekend - the good, the bad, and the lessons.

My weekend was good. I did get some decluttering done in my office. We went to Chicago's Navy Pier to see the fireworks, unfortunately, the fog was so dense that we were not able to see them. My wake-up call: To schedule tasks for the following week from the emails I receive. I schedule them for Sunday and then on Sunday while I'm doing my weekly plan, I move them to the specific day and time. It helps me get things done and stops keeping tasks open in my to-do list. I love your image!!

The only work I do is check my email and delete the emails that are not important to me and I do my weekly plan. That's about it. Weekends are my time to relax and do fun stuff.
Can we start over together?
I'm a newbie Skool Community Owner who wanted to jump in and get this party started! Then real life kicked in when my Dad died. I wasn't prepared to deal with all of the family issues. I wasn't prepared to launch a new community when dealing with so many issues. So the community quickly fizzled. Now that I've addressed the family issues, it's time to rebuild this community so that it offers you the support and interaction that you deserve. I'm working on Version 2.0 and will launch it soon! Let me know what you'd like to see in the new space. I only have one (other) request. Please give the upgrade a chance and let me know what you think. 'If you like it, then share it with your friends.

So glad you're back online. Family comes first.
Real-life walked into the Room and took over...
Hello wonderful ladies, I'm making some delightful plans to liven up our budding community, but I'm not sure how present I will be for the next few days. My Dad passed away last night. As a result, RL has taken center stage. I do want to spend time on Skool because normal feels good right now. I know I can't walk away from everything, but things have to shift around for a bit while I figure out my new normal. I'm assessing what needs my attention and what can take care of itself while I take care of me. What would happen in your biz if RL jumped in with other plans? What parts would be OK? What sort of shape would your biz be in when you check back in>

I'm hoping people would understand.
Friction is not laziness
Quick truth: If you know what to do but cannot start, that is not laziness. It is a friction point in your system. Today, notice where friction shows up before you judge yourself.

This is good food for thought, we seem to always judge ourselves.
